Maintenance Supervisor

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is the nation's largest private bottler and distributor of Pepsi beverages. Based in NC, SC, MD, & DE. Job Description Maintenance Supervisor Role Overview Oversees day‑to‑day operations of the maintenance department. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Assigns PMs, checks PM completion and tracks PM completion rates. Manages and directs daily activities to Mechanics and Parts Clerk. Ensures all safety standards, policies and procedures are followed. Schedules maintenance employees according to workloads, vacations, etc. Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipates and solves problems in a timely manner, and identifies opportunities for improvement. Responsible for Food Safety where applicable. Works with maintenance team to adhere to budget costs. Creates department procedures and facilitates training. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Five years maintenance experience required. Four years of supervisory experience required. Programmable Logistics Controller (PLC) training required. Good leadership skills required. Good oral and written communication skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to communicate with highly skilled technicians. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
