Production Scheduler

Employment Type: 6–9 Month Contract or Direct Hire for the right candidate Pay: $33.37/ Hour Position Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Production Scheduler to support daily production operations by managing material movement, inventory updates, and shop floor coordination. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring someone who can work efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, comfortable working on the production floor, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and capable of keeping materials moving to support customer delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities Move and stage materials throughout the production floor using carts, dollies, forklifts, or other equipment. Update production and inventory systems with accurate material status information. Track work orders, materials, and production progress to support schedules. Coordinate material availability and resolve shortages or discrepancies. Maintain accurate paperwork and system records for work-in-process (WIP). Support packaging and handling of parts to prevent damage. Communicate with production teams and support groups to keep workflow moving. Assist with shop floor scheduling activities and daily production priorities. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Manufacturing, warehouse, production, dispatching, or material handling experience preferred. Experience working with computerized inventory or manufacturing systems preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and resolve basic production issues. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift/material handling experience is a plus. Ideal Candidate Profile Energetic and dependable. Fast learner with a strong work ethic.
