This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, academic environment involving medical students, residents and fellows who are committed to excellence in patient care.Key Responsibilities:Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medicationsProvide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care teamContribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projectsMaintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standardsParticipate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of careOpportunity Details:Night Shift- 3-12 hour shifts/week, 7pm-7am.Shift differential of $125 per shiftComprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans401K Plan with 4% match after one yearCME days plus allowancePaid malpracticeRequirements:Acute Care Nurse PractitionerAcute Care, Cardiology, GI and/or Inpatient experience is highly desirableCurrent State of Arizona license or in processDEA with prescriptive authority requiredOpen to New Graduates with Related ExperienceCurrent CPR, BLS, and ACLSBanner Health and University of Arizona Health Network have come together to form Banner - University Medicine, a health system anchored in Phoenix and Tucson that makes the highest level of care accessible to Arizona residents.
