About the Role:

The Director of Marketing is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that enhance the organization's brand presence and stakeholder engagement. This role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing communications, including public relations, digital marketing, content creation, and internal communications, to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all channels. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, driving growth and fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and the media. Additionally, this position requires monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Ultimately, the Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's public image and supporting its long-term success through effective communication strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of progressive experience in marketing communications, including leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, public relations, and content development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a director-level role within a similar industry or organizational setting.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools
• Demonstrated success in managing teams and cross-departmental projects.
• Knowledge of emerging marketing trends and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans that support organizational goals and enhance brand awareness.
• Lead and manage the marketing communications team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, press releases, social media content, and other communication assets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to maximize positive coverage and engagement.
• Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communication efforts, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and report outcomes to senior leadership.
