Sinto America Surface Technologies provides precision shot peening, blasting and cleaning services through its National Peening division. National Peening is currently seeking a Lead Quality Inspector to join our Team in Wilmington, NC. What You Will Do The Shot Peening Lead Inspector is responsible for leading and performing inspection activities to ensure all shot peening processes and products comply with customer specifications, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary technical resource on the shop floor for inspection-related matters. General Perform and oversee inspection activities including:

Almen strip testing and intensity verification Coverage verification Shot peening process validation

Approve or reject products based on applicable specifications Monitor process parameters, including media condition and equipment settings Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full traceability Train and support inspectors and operators on requirements and procedures Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions Support internal, customer, and Nadcap audits What We Want From You High School diploma or equivalent is required 3-7 years experience in manufacturing environment, surface treatment/ shot peening experience preferred 2+ years

management/supervisor
