Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapist Registered, Jefferson Hills, PA: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. Performs therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures, documents patient care, and provides instruction to patients and healthcare team members.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Pennsylvania Respiratory Care License through the appropriate state medical board; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; 36 hours per week. Weekend availability is required; no on-call responsibility.
• Additional Information: Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to department policies; performs diagnostic respiratory procedures; completes required clinical documentation; provides patient and family education; instructs patients and healthcare team members as needed; and performs other assigned duties. Grey scrubs are required.
