Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant (Public Accounting) Location: Broomall, PA (1x remote) We're partnered with a small, independent Pennsylvania CPA firm providing tax, accounting, audit, and business advisory services to mid-market, family-owned businesses across Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks counties, and Philadelphia. The Tax Accountant prepares and reviews complex tax returns, advises clients directly on tax matters, and provides senior-level support to the firm's tax practice. What you'll do: Prepare and review complex tax returns for a mix of business and individual clients Research tax questions and advise clients directly on tax planning and compliance issues Perform financial reviews and compilations under the supervision of a manager Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other special-purpose frameworks Perform bookkeeping functions for clients, including monthly close Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients What you'll need: 2+ years of public accounting experience in tax Bachelor's degree in accounting and actively pursuing CPA license Working knowledge of QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, and CCH Axcess Engagement Strong workpaper documentation and client communication skills What's in it for you: Clear growth path with mentorship from big 4 alumni Client Exposure: Works directly with business and individual clients across multiple industries, serving as a primary point of contact rather than working solely through a manager Scope: The role spans tax, accounting, and advisory work rather than tax preparation alone, including reviews, compilations, and monthly close support Medical, Dental, Vision - Starts Day 1 (Company pays 75% for independent) 401K with 4% Match (eligible after 1 year) #J-18808-Ljbffr Jasurda Search Group
