MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Key Duties: Obtain correct patient orders, ensure proper identification and preparation, select appropriate imaging protocols, and optimize technical factors while prioritizing patient safety and applying ALARA principles. Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and assist with interventional procedures. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR, or equivalent; graduate from a specialty radiologic technology program; preferred bachelor's degree. Demonstrated proficiency in routine and complex duties, strong understanding of safety protocols, and ability to apply principles of magnetic resonance imaging. Work Environment & Expectations: Clinical setting with accountability for adherence to policies, procedures, and departmental priorities.
