Job Details

Unarmed Security Officer to work inside a medical marijuana facility in Akron, OH

• FT & PT - Daytime and Evening - $18/hr - Weekly Pay

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Genric, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our client's property and personnel, as well as your co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Front of house unarmed Security positioned inside dispensary lobby at front door.
• Monitor front lobby as well as assist in deliveries as necessary.
• Check ID's and manage line at the front door to assist reception.
• Patrol inside and outside of facility as needed.
• Working closely with management and staff to ensure safety of patient, property, staff and product.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess High School diploma or equivalent
• Possess a valid OH driver's license
• Prior security or similar expertise preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
• Possess effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports
• Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner
• Possess intermediate computer skills
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
• Ability to follow established security protocols, while using initiative and good judgment
