Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Recent experience in school-based OT practice strongly preferred
• Genuine passion for working with diverse student populations (K-12)
• Adaptable, solution-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
• Must be able and willing to travel between multiple schools within the county as assignments are updated each summer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group OT interventions that help students develop, recover, and improve skills crucial for learning and daily participation
• Assess students and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to specific needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated care and advocate for students’ occupational performance
• Maintain organized and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student goals
• Adapt to changing assignments by building rapport in multiple school environments across the county
