Delivery Driver - Medical Equipment

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our growing team, ensuring safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to our patients, also providing equipment setup and educating patients on the proper use of equipment. Adhere to assigned routes and schedules 3. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record 4. Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process 5. Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members 6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols 7. Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies Education 1. High SchoolDiplomaor General Education Degree (GED), Required Work Experience 1. Previous experience in professional driving role or equivalent preferred, but not required 2. Home care/health care background is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Non CDL drivers can be 18 or older 2. CDL drivers are required to be 21 or older 3. Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing 4. Must maintain a valid D/L for appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed 5. Convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees 6. Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork 7. Critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert 8. Strong customer service 9. Basic computer knowledge 10. Must lift 50+ pounds by oneself 11. Must lift excess of 50lbs with mechanical or employee assistance 12. Maneuver often in restricted spaces 13. Perform the following physical actions: 14. straight pulling 15. pulling hand over hand 16. reachingabove the shoulder 17. use of fingers/fine manipulation 18. repeated bending 19. Utilize hands, legs, and eyes for operating vehicle 20. Use depth perception 21. Lift up to 15lbs above the shoulder while loading and unloading Licenses and Certifications 1.
