Thrift Store Manager – Hastings Crossroads Mission Avenue is a local non‑profit whose primary mission is to offer shelter to the homeless. Our Mission statement is bringing glory to God through the helping of people! Our Mission Avenue Thrift stores serve a vital role in our ministry. Crossroads Mission Avenue Thrift is currently seeking a motived, organized and compassionate individual to fill the full-time position of Thrift Store Manager for our store in Hastings. Responsibilities Ability to communicate effectively and record information accurately. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to diffuse conflict, maintain composure, and always treat Crossroads’ guests and customers with dignity and respect. Oversee all sales floor and stock room operations. Supervise staff and volunteers. Assist all customers and potential customers in a Christ‑like manner. Monitor that all donations are sorted in a timely manner and inventoried as in‑kind donations or recycled in our recycling program. Present a positive and compassionate willingness to assist guests, customers, donors and employees. Compensation The pay rate for this full‑time position is $18 per hour with benefits.
