Maintenance Technician

Radiology Associates Facility MaintenancePosition is responsible for the upkeep of the Radiology Associates building and grounds. This includes maintaining the parking lot and landscaping, light electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting. Other duties and tasks may be assigned. Hours for this position are 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Occasional on call responsibilities may include after hour and weekend work as required as such, preference will be given to applicants who live in close enough proximity to the facility to be able to be on site within 30 minutes to attend to emergent issues.Essential FunctionsUpkeep of all facility groundsLight landscaping and irrigation repairPerform scheduled checks and services of HVAC, lighting and plumbing systems for normal operationMaintaining flat roof and roof drainsInterior repairs such as sheet rock work and paintingRunning supplies to ancillary office locations as neededWork with vendors to complete necessary contracted workMaintain inventory of suppliesMoving furniture as needed and any other practice specific needsAssist with courier duties as neededRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or related trade fieldMust be able to read and write EnglishMust be able to follow oral and written instructionsMust have excellent attendance recordMust have valid driver's license and reliable transportationKnowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and sheetrockKnowledge of HVAC systemsKnowledge of electrical systemsAbility to use power toolsProblem solving skills related to maintenance and repair issuesSelf-motivated with organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to take direction from supervisorInterpersonal skills to interact with coworkers and patientsAttention to detail while completing tasksPhysical Demands and Environment:Working on feet for extended period of timeWorking in hot and cold environmentsOccasional lifting of heavy itemsAbility to climb ladders and work on flat roofRadiology Associates of Tallahassee is an EOE and drug and smoke free workplace
