As the organization's lead expert in payroll tax, the full-time Senior Payroll Tax Specialist will ensure compliance and accurate reporting of federal, state, and local payroll taxes while managing tax systems and resolving complex inquiries, all in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Oversee payroll tax filing activities, ensuring timely submission of all tax returns Manage payroll tax systems and software, implementing necessary updates and enhancements Research tax laws and respond to inquiries from employees and regulatory agencies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 3 years of payroll tax experience Experience with ADP SmartCompliance and related payroll tax systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll or tax systems CPP Certification is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
