Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join Wellstar Cobb Hospital. In this role, you will assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and preventing deformities in patients recovering from disease or injury. You will collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to develop individualized treatment plans, provide education, and ensure high-quality care that adheres to all regulatory standards. This position involves documenting treatment sessions, discharge planning, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on exceptional patient service.


Shift: Day (Monday - Friday, with 2 weekend days per month)
Start Date: 01/21/2025
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Implement and revise treatment plans with patient and family input.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, discharge instructions, and community resources.
• Collaborate with physicians for ongoing patient evaluation and treatment plan adjustments.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans per departmental guidelines.
• Follow ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service, fostering teamwork and positive patient experiences.
• Participate in professional development, training, and mandatory education activities.
• Comply with all organizational policies and standards of conduct.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• All relevant licenses and certifications must be current upon hire, including BLS.
• Excellent communication skills, customer service focus, and basic computer skills.
