This position is responsible for sanitation, safety, equipment and other items directly or indirectly affecting the Environmental Service employees. Responsible for all training of new hire associates, documentation and on‑going training. Employee must be able to follow the protocols and procedures for infection control and standard precautions. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. Job Description Assign, monitor and review task progress and ensure accurate work. Provide instruction so others on the team can complete tasks quickly and effectively. Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a group of employees. Provide technical guidance on more complex issues. Answer questions, offer insight and organize responsibilities within the team. Act as a positive example for those working with them. Inform management of overall performance of team members. Perform other duties as assigned.
