Job Description

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday coverage
• Shifts range between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts), hours may vary based on departmental needs

Qualifications:

• Active California Mammography Tech license and CRT (M) required
• Valid BLS certification required
• ARRT certification highly preferred
• Minimum of two years' experience in mammography required
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography (both 2D and 3D), wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Ability and willingness to float across different departments within the main campus as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional, compassionate care during all mammography and interventional procedures
• Perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, utilizing 2D and 3D technology
• Conduct wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies as indicated
• Float between departments to meet patient care needs within the main campus
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within patient records
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in department quality assurance and improvement activities
