Cable Technician

Construction Laborer

Anistar is seeking experienced and entry-level structured cabling technicians to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as security/access control equipment. MUST be comfortable working from ladders and lifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working indoors and outdoors spotting technicians working from scissor lifts or working inside confined spaces
• Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
• Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation
• Installation of cable support structures fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
• Manual labor moving boxes and materials around the job site
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
• Must have prior commercial new construction experience
• Must be able to work with a large team

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (Boom and/or scissor lift)
• Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
