Posit Platform Administrator — Linux & Security

Key Responsibilities Design and implement secure, scalable platform architecture meeting enterprise compliance and performance standards Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Posit Workbench, Posit Connect, and Posit Package Manager on Linux servers Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and server remediation Manage users, roles, sessions, and provide hands‑on user support (package installs, environment setup, troubleshooting) Implement and maintain R & Python package management strategies using Posit Package Manager Configure authentication and security (LDAP, SAML, SSL/TLS, PAM) Maintain platform documentation and support training for admins and users Work with internal enterprise processes (WSSO, DSN, Insight, MARS, Certificates, IaaS) Required / Preferred Skills Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu/RedHat, CLI, processes, filesystem, configs) Advanced experience with Posit products (Workbench, Connect, Package Manager) Working knowledge of R and Python ecosystems and package management Networking & security fundamentals (firewalls, SSL/TLS, auth protocols) PostgreSQL or similar databases for metadata storage Docker/Kubernetes experience (optional) #J-18808-Ljbffr Veriipro
