This travel assignment is nestled close to the scenic beauty of Scotts Valley, CA, offering all the perks of coastal living and easy access to Northern California's iconic redwood forests and beaches. In this full-time role, you'll work school hours (8:00-4:30) during the 26/27 school year, supporting both elementary and high school students. Managing a caseload of 45-50 students, you'll gain valuable experience working with diverse populations and educational approaches, setting the stage for ongoing professional growth and resume enhancement.


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CF credential
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Commitment to evidence-based intervention and culturally sensitive care
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a travel placement
Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students K-12
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district standards
  • Educate stakeholders on communication strategies for student success
