Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Facing Role in San Marcos, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a luxury retail setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout luxury retail sales areas, entrances, stockrooms, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity while maintaining a professional presence consistent with a high-end retail environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
