Role Overview Plego is seeking an organized and proactive Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team in the Chicago area. This is a dual role that brings together marketing coordination and sales support. In this role, you’ll run outbound campaigns, coordinate our webinars, seminars, and trade shows, keep our marketing materials and case studies ready to share, and help our sales leaders respond to clients quickly and set new meetings. If you have 2 to 3 years of experience coordinating sales and marketing efforts and enjoy keeping things organized and moving, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Organize and coordinate marketing efforts across campaigns, events, and content. Run outbound sales campaigns through calls, email, and LinkedIn. Respond to inbound inquiries and campaign information requests, and bring in the sales team when a meeting is needed. Set meetings for the sales team and help create new opportunities. Manage invitations, RSVPs, and follow-ups for webinars and seminars. Plan and coordinate trade show participation, including registration, logistics, vendors, and booth materials. Maintain marketing materials and sales collateral so they are current and ready to share. Build concise, to-the-point case studies from client projects. Keep contacts, activities, and deals up to date in the CRM, and share a weekly summary of campaign and event results. Help clients learn the tools we build for them, such as the Strapi CMS, and join client calls when needed. Qualifications 2 to 3 years of experience in sales coordination, marketing coordination, or a similar role, preferably within a technology, software, or digital agency environment. Hands-on experience running outreach campaigns, webinars, events, or trade shows. Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce. Confident in making outbound calls and speaking with clients. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once. Clear writing skills, with the ability to turn project details into case studies and client-ready materials. Comfortable learning software tools and explaining them to non-technical users. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications, or equivalent experience. Ability to work on-site from our Chicago-area office.
