This is a busy practice within a high-volume OB center, offering rounding, labor management, delivery, and potential GYN surgery coverage, with in-house presence from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and possible beeper call from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Opportunity Highlights Obstetrics and Gynecology locum tenens role June, July, August coverage for approximately 8 days per month In-house coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beeper call from home from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. 6,000 annual births in a busy OB center Rounding, labor management, delivery, and GYN surgery as needed In-house hospital presence required during scheduled hours Potential for full 24-hour coverage if labor and delivery volume requires In-house hospital-based practice in a high-volume OB center Schedule Details Coverage for approximately 8 days per month during June, July, and August In-house from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Beeper call from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (may require hospital return for OB, GYN, or ED patients) Flexibility based on labor volume and staffing needs Clinical Scope In-house OB and GYN coverage with rounding and labor management Delivery and postpartum care GYN surgical procedures as needed Management of labor and delivery in a high-volume setting Collaboration with hospital nursing and support staff Documentation within hospital EMR systems Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a busy OB center serving a large regional population. Providers will work in a hospital-based setting with a dedicated team of OB/GYNs, nurses, and support staff, managing a high-volume obstetric practice with a focus on efficient, quality care delivery.
