About the Position

Job Title

Interventional Radiology (IR) - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (12-hour or 10-hour shifts) | On-site | Includes 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and provide nursing care during interventional radiology procedures including tunneled line placements, nephrostomy tubes, and drain insertions
• Support biopsy, embolization, chest tube, and TIPS procedures in a specialized IR setting
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation including weeknight and weekend call assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with IR-specific procedures such as TIPS, embolizations, and nephrostomy tube management
• Familiarity with scrub and circulator roles within an IR suite
