ND Pharmacy Technician in Training

ND Pharmacy Tech-in-Training – Full Time, Ashley, ND Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-in-Training in Ashley, ND. Completion of Thrifty White Pharmacy’s Training Program (ASHP/ACPE Accredited) is required, along with all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy. Candidates must be willing to commit to completing the program within the timeline provided. Responsibilities Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business. Championing Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx and assisting with enrolling patients. Maintaining prescription information to ensure accurate records. Understanding and following Medicare Part B requirements. Troubleshooting any rejected claims or billing issues. Assisting customers with Medicare Part D questions. Maintaining proper level of nursing home filling procedures. Learning and implementing new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis. Maintaining flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required. Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed. Good attendance and punctuality required to fulfill the essential job functions. Qualifications Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality, and be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must currently be or be willing to become a certified pharmacy technician per North Dakota state requirements.
