Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer required to join a engineering manufacturer based in Richmond, IN
\n \nThe successful Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer will have experience with SolidWorks 3D modelling and 2D drawing
\n \nThe salary is a guideline, candidates above the salary range are also encouraged to apply.
\n \nPackage
\n$75,000 - $95,000+ depending on experience

\n \nMechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer Responsibilities
\nImproving the performance and design of existing products and oversee production and packaging of the final products
\nUsing computer aided design (CAD) to design concepts
\nDesign, model and test prototypes for new products
\nOversee prototype development and confirm designs with purchasing/customer team
\nCreag concepts to meet the production capabilities of the company
\nEnsure components and assemblies adhere to the industry and customer standards
\nCreate parts lists
\nEstablish design briefs as well as organising and maintaining engineering records
\n \nMechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer Requirements
\nEngineering degree or higher education in Mechanical Engineering
\n3+ years of experience in a similar position e.g. Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer
\nExperience and working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modelling and 2D drawings
\nKnowledge and experience in metal fabrication processes
\nReporting to the Design Manager
\nCommutable to Richmond, IN
