Overview The Phlebotomist collects blood specimens for diagnostic testing. They ensure specimen integrity in labs, hospitals, or mobile draws with minimal patient discomfort. The ideal candidate will have expertise in phlebotomy techniques and patient care, with experience in clinical settings. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws. Label and prepare specimens for analysis. Document patient information in EHR systems like Epic. Adhere to infection control protocols. Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies. Collaborate with laboratory teams. This position is fundamental to laboratory diagnostics.
