Travel RN – Acute Care / PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting under applicable nursing standards
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level acute care and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
• Ability to work night shift hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Compliance with all facility credentialing and health requirements prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or PCU environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level cardiac care
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
