Join us and let’s get started. Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced Air Quality Compliance Specialist for immediate, full-time employment. We are seeking candidates who are heavily focused on Air Quality Compliance. This remote role can be based in any of our Western Metropolitan office locations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Research, review and analyze air quality data, policies, and regulations. Configure Air Emission Inventories utilizing data collected onsite. Support development of permit application packages. Prepare and review Air Quality Management Plans, which communicate all regulations affecting the management of air emission sources at a facility. Review and assess compliance methodologies employed at a facility and provide feedback and creative solutions to reduce overall risk of non-compliance. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education focused on air quality compliance data. Valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role. Preferred Qualifications: 8-10 years of science experience focused on air quality compliance. Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that implement the Clean Air Act. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel. Calculate air emissions according to scientific and regulatory standards. Strong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills. Nationwide travel (50% of the time). Experience with APIMS and/or EESOH Experience consulting DOD clients. Knowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to air quality compliance. Additional Information Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required. Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
