An ideal candidate should be a leader with a coaching attitude who enjoys helping the restaurant management team and team members run efficient back-of-house operations.Position DetailsMaintain high employment standards consistent with Bloomin' Brands policiesAssist in set ups for the opening crew in the kitchenCheck schedule for in-coming team membersAdhere to and coach on security proceduresEvaluate the close from night beforeReview daily inventoryPrepare to receive ordersTrack of shelf-life adherenceCheck temps on freezer, dish machine and refrigeration units before preppingLearn flavor profiles and specifications of menu itemsFollow recipe cards with no compromiseReview daily sanitation checklists and conduct checksConduct daily health inspectionsAdhere to sanitation, temperature and food safety standardsWork the flow and timeliness of tickets to ensure exceptional cook timesMinimum RequirementsCertified trainer in any back-of-house functionsPassing grade in Assessment testingMust be willing and able to work a flexible scheduleLegal authorization to work in the United StatesMinimum 21 years of agePreferred RequirementsPrevious experience in restaurant industryPreviously held positions of leadershipTrained and proficient in all areas of back-of-house functionsBloomin Brands offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
