Primary Care Physician (New Graduates Welcome) Location : Gulfport, MS Job Type : Full-Time On-Site Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Primary Care Physician to join a collaborative healthcare team serving adult and senior patient populations. This position offers a value-based, team-oriented care model focused on delivering high-quality outcomes, preventative care, and comprehensive patient management. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Manage and coordinate patient care plans with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, and improving patient outcomes. Coordinate specialty referrals, home health services, durable medical equipment, and post-acute care transitions. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, pharmacists, and care coordinators. Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and patient care planning discussions. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, payer guidelines, and healthcare regulations. Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine. Active and unrestricted medical license (or willingness to obtain licensure in Mississippi). Active DEA license. Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment preferred.
