DEPARTMENT: Admin Services REPORTSTO: Sr.Director,Benefits & Risk Management STATUS: Part-Time;Non-Exempt Yourrole as aBarista: You willberesponsible forthepreparation and service of Padres Perk beverages, includinga variety of hot and iced coffees, teas, and specialty drinks. You will actively engage with customers and collaborate with fellow Baristas topreparebeverage orders andprovide quality customer service. You willmaintainthe cleanliness of the Padres Perk workspace,monitorinventory,andensure all equipment isproperly cleanedand stored. All theresponsibilities we will trust you with: * ExemplifyingourPadres Core Values/Mission Statement:Communicationand Collaboration, Progress and Innovation, Accountability and Integrity, and Effort and Results,throughbuilding meaningful connections with a diverse fan base and serving as impactful leaders in the San Diego community * Preparing beverages, both standard and customized, which may include tailoring ingredients to the customers liking * Providingoptimalcustomer service by engaging with customerswhile preparing orders * Monitoring inventory and replenishing items as necessary * Ensuring the workspace is clean, organized, and properly maintained * Able to perform a variety of tasks, as requested, within the organization during each shift Your areas of knowledge andexpertisethat matter most: * Possessstrongcommunicationskills and effectivelywork well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner * Exceptional time management and organizational skills withcapacity tohandle high volumes of work, multi-task, andmaintaina clean and organized workspace * Ability to learn new skills and create innovative beverages * Maintainprofessional demeanor with ahigh degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability * Maintainconsistent, punctual, and reliable attendance You willbe requiredto meet the following: * Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment * Prior barista experience ispreferred, butnotrequired. Training will be provided * Able to workflexible hours that may include early mornings * Minimumphysical requirements: able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds * As a condition of employment,youmust successfully complete allpost-offer, pre-employmentrequirements, including but not limited to a background check Salary andadditionalcompensation: Per the California pay transparency law,thehourly pay rate for this position is $21.14. Part time, non-union employees are subject to the San Diego Living Wage Ordinance and rates will increase accordingly.
