Multi-phase scanning capability
Stroke imaging, including perfusion studies
Colorectal studies experience
TeraRecon knowledge preferred, but not required


Description:
Position available for a CT Technologist in a Radiology department.
This facility has a total of 373 licensed beds across various units, including acute and rehabilitation.
The emergency department consists of 30 beds, while the ICU has 46 beds, and the PCU accommodates 40 beds.
Observation areas total 70 beds, with 14 operating suites available.
The department offers a range of imaging services, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine, supported by radiology nursing.
The facility is TJC Stroke accredited and has an average inpatient census of around 400.
They typically perform an average of 160 studies per weekday and 120 on weekends.
This position is open to first-time travelers.
Patient types include those in emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient settings.
CT-guided invasive procedures will be performed by the department as needed.
Anesthesia may be utilized for specific cases, and cardiac CT imaging is conducted during the day shift, 7 days a week.
The department employs EPIC for electronic medical records, and uses Epic Clientnt for radiology information.
The PACS system in use is Philips iSite.
This role requires knowledge and skills in specific imaging techniques, IV starts, and various diagnostic procedures.
Uniform requires black scrubs.
Guest services and transport assistance for inpatient and observation patients are provided within the department.
