Jalapeno Tree Mexican Restaurant

We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals who are dedicated to exceptional guest experiences, high-quality ingredients, and exemplary service. As a busser, you will play a key role in supporting our servers and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. You'll be responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant, and ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Set and reset tables in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables and transport them to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Replenish supplies and assist with stocking items in the service area.
- Read and comprehend labels on chemicals and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including trash disposal and organizing dining supplies.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth dining experience.

- Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures (cooler/freezer and kitchen area).
- Prior experience working in a restaurant preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
