Job Description

The Clinical Outcome Assessment Digital Implementation Team (CDIT) Navigator serves as the strategic lead for Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) licensing, translation, and implementation activities across assigned therapeutic areas, driving early stakeholder alignment, proactive study planning, risk mitigation, and successful end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic expertise to the organization in support of program level COA licensing and translation implementation.
• Directs enterprise strategic delivery of COA activities to support therapeutic area study teams:
  o Serves as a key business partner for the asset team leader in developing core strategies and meeting program goals;
  o Serves as a resource to study teams in the early stage development of COA strategies by providing strategic expertise and oversight for COA licensing, translations, and intelligence;
  o Develops and maintains CDIT TA strategic account plan in support of TA goals;
• o Partners with HEOR and CSL to proactively identify COA needs and requirements for upcoming clinical programs and trials;
  o Participates with cross-functional teams to liaison with oversight committees, such as IEST, as needed;
  o Forecasts needs for COAs at program level by partnering with TA program team leaders and asset team leaders; and
  o Operates with a strategic, cross-functional mindset regarding COA licensing and translation implementation.
• Responsible for partnering with CDIT Team PM and study teams:
  o Coordinates CDIT TA program management team deliverables utilizing scoping meetings to set direction for study teams;
  o Supports the CDIT program manager in driving cross-functional alignment within study team;
  o Mentors CDIT TA program manager to develop key messages and navigate good decision-making processes to effectively manage study team meetings;
  o Ensures appropriate incorporation of intelligence from strategic account plan
• o Ensures high performance of CDIT TA program management team by defining KPIs for key COA activities and continuous monitoring and assessment of teams’ performance and providing feedback to ensure KPIs are met; and
  o Ensures appropriate CDIT document management practices are followed and repository of key program information is maintained.
• Proactively identifies challenges or potential issues for execution within program COA strategies and COA study team plans, serving as key point in escalation of issues, as needed.
• Actively champions and seeks opportunities to improve effectiveness the COA end-to-end development process:
  o Proactively seeks learnings from other teams and shares best practices;
  o Partners with cross-functional colleagues and study teams to seek process improvement opportunities;
  o Participates as needed in developing and implementing change; and
• o Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to enable effective implementation of the end-to-end process, such as translation vendors and external copyright holders.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, managing, training, onboarding, growth, and development of their direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific field or equivalent; or equivalent with relevant experience is acceptable.
• (Preferred) At least 6 years (and/or applicable work experience) in clinical research, demonstrating a high level of core, technical, and leadership competencies, through setting and driving strategy and leading cross-functional collaborations.
• Experience effectively working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in both global and regional teams in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong program management skills and knowledge of program management practices in the pharmaceutical industry and common tools utilized.
• Well-developed communication skills – both written and oral.
• Well-developed strategic thinking and leadership skills. Demonstration of successful coaching, mentoring, and people management; demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
• Builds strong relationships with peers, cross-functional colleagues and external partners to enable higher performance. Embraces the ideas of others, nurtures innovation and manages innovation to reality.
• Learns fast, grasps the 'essence', and can change the course quickly where indicated.
• Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo. Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
