Job Description Job Description LEVIN EYE CARE CENTER IN WHITING INDIANA -PATIENT COORDINATOR-OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN THIS POSITION IS FOR FULL-TIME or PART - TIME We are seeking highly qualified applicants for the full-time position of Patient Coordinator -Optometric Technician. Must have at least 2 years' experience in the medical field. Must be able to multitask in a high-volume private practice. This is an opportunity for the right person who is flexible/adaptable to change, and desires to learn new skills. Must have a positive personality and friendly demeanor. Requirements: * Must have a minimum of two-year experience required. * Must be able to multitask in a high-volume practice. * Must have excellent communication skills. * Bilingual preferred. * Only local candidates near Whiting Indiana will be considered. * Punctuality and reliable transportation is a must. * You must also be extremely organized, extremely customer oriented. * Business professional dress code. * Pretesting workups * Fundus photography * Glaucoma workups * Using auto refractor and lensometer * Contact lens teaching * Eyewear selection * Assisting doctors * Business Professional Attire * Responsible with aiding in the selection of fashion eyewear * Experience in sales and customer service * Only local candidates will be considered (Must live relatively near to Whiting) . * Experience in Receptionist duties Minimum 2 years of experience . Must have excellent communication skills, bilingual helpful. HOURS OF OPERATION SERVING THE PUBLIC * Monday 9-5 * Tuesday 9-6 * Wednesday - Closed * Thursday 9-5 * Friday 9-5 * Saturday 8-12 * Staff arrives at least 30 minutes prior and also must be available for patient care at least 30 minutes after business hours.
