Prepare and position patients for complex vascular and nonvascular interventions, selecting exact technical parameters that drive procedural accuracy and critical clinical outcomes. Administer contrast media within scope of practice while vigilantly monitoring patient responses, rapidly reporting changes that can save lives in emergent situations. Implement rigorous radiation safety and compliance standards to protect patients and staff while advancing continuous quality improvement in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR). Qualifications License: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). License: Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board. Certification: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Certification: Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from CCI. Certification: Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (ARRT); Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted. Preferred: Advanced Life Support (AHA or Red Cross). Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or Red Cross). Education High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
