Automotive Glass TechnicianBluebonnet Collision Center is looking for an experienced, motivated Automotive Glass Technician to join our growing collision repair operation.This is a dedicated glass position. We are looking for someone who specializes in automotive glass installation and removal—not a Body Technician.As we continue expanding our in-house glass operations, this technician will play an important role in building a high-quality, efficient glass department within our dealership collision center.What You'll DoRemove and install automotive windshields, back glass, quarter glass and door glassSafely remove and install bonded automotive glassPerform glass replacement according to OEM proceduresRemove and reinstall moldings, trim, clips and related componentsProperly prepare pinchwelds and glass surfaces for installationApply automotive urethane and primers correctlyInspect installations for proper fit, alignment and water leaksProtect vehicles during glass removal and installationPerform leak testing and quality-control inspectionsSafely handle and transport automotive glassWork closely with Body Technicians, Mechanical Technicians, Estimators and ManagementFollow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer-specific requirementsMaintain a clean, organized and safe glass work areaProperly document completed repairsFollow all company safety and quality standardsADAS & Modern VehiclesBluebonnet Collision Center is a modern dealership collision facility with in-house ADAS equipment.The ideal candidate should understand that many modern vehicles may require ADAS calibration following windshield replacement.You will be expected to:Identify when ADAS may be affected by a glass replacementFollow OEM proceduresCommunicate calibration requirements to the appropriate teamCoordinate with our existing ADAS operationEnsure the vehicle is properly documented before returning it to the customerYou will NOT be responsible for purchasing or providing your own ADAS equipment.What We're Looking ForRequired:Previous professional automotive glass experienceExperience removing and installing windshieldsExperience with urethane-bonded glassKnowledge of proper glass preparation and installation proceduresAbility to safely handle automotive glassValid driver's licenseStrong attention to detailReliable attendance and work ethicAbility to work independentlyPreferred:Dealership or collision-center experienceExperience with high-end and luxury vehiclesExperience with ADAS-equipped vehiclesKnowledge of OEM glass replacement proceduresExperience with multiple makes and modelsI-CAR or manufacturer-specific trainingWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceStable dealership collision-center environmentConsistent work volumeProfessional work environmentModern equipment and toolsIn-house ADAS capabilitiesOpportunity to help build and grow our glass departmentCareer growth opportunitiesTeam-oriented workplaceQuality-focused operationWhy Bluebonnet Collision Center?We're not looking for someone to simply replace windshields and move on to the next vehicle.We're building a professional in-house glass operation designed around quality, efficiency and proper OEM repair procedures.You'll have the opportunity to help establish the glass department, influence how the department operates and become an important part of a growing dealership collision center.If you're an experienced Automotive Glass Technician who takes pride in doing the job correctly and wants to be part of a growing operation, we want to talk to you.Apply TodayPosition: Automotive Glass Technician Company: Bluebonnet Collision Center Location: New Braunfels, Texas Employment Type: Full-Time
