Analytical Protein Chemist

Job Description Provide support for general analytical methods to characterize purified proteins/antibodies, including assessment of titer, concentration, purity and relevant biophysical properties. Prepare buffers and samples and acquire data using instruments such as HPLCs and other relevant equipment. Help instrument maintenance / calibration, and perform basic troubleshooting as needed Work collaboratively with client team on-site to ensure smooth operation of lab instruments, and to achieve critical research objectives and timelines. Data analysis and data capture of experimental results using E-notebook and data sharing in a timely manner. Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or similar discipline Basic knowledge of lab activities, such as making buffers, performing calculations, documenting experiments and data analysis. Experience in basic protein analytical characterizations technique, familiar with HPLCs is highly desirable. Experience with biophysical assays and other analytical techniques is a plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Additional Information Position is full-time, first-shift, Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.
