Fabricator / Welder – Industrial Machinery

A multinational company with a facility in the Wixom, MI area is currently seeking several Fabricator / Welders for long term opportunity with their growing team. Fabricator / Welder pay is anticipated to be $28.00 - $32.00/hour , based on experience and qualifications. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid vacation, and holidays.

Qualified Fabricator / Welders will have most, if not all, of the following:

• 2+ years of recent fabrication and welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding; TIG welding is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools to fabricate and assemble steel components.
• Experience operating fabrication equipment including overhead cranes, forklifts, band saws, shears, and grinders.
• High School Diploma preferred; equivalent fabrication and welding experience will be considered.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (no H-1B sponsorship or student visas).
• Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment background, drug screen, and reference checks.
