The SLPA does not evaluate, diagnose, or independently develop treatment plans but may provide input to the supervising SLP.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Provide direct individual and/or group speech therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Accurately collect and document data on patient performance and progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for billing and compliance purposes
- Maintain daily treatment notes and assist with progress reporting
- Support communication with caregivers as directed by the supervising SLP
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions as appropriate
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and therapeutic environment for patients
- Adhere to all Hopebridge policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
- Assist with problem-solving to improve efficiency within the center
- Maintain a positive attitude and support a collaborative team environment
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Complete all assigned mandatory training modules
- Follow all state, federal and ASHA practice acts and regulations, including HIPAA
- Maintain a clear criminal record
- Must possess or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a CPR certification

Required Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current SLPA license or certification as required by state regulations; must meet all applicable state and ASHA guidelines.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
