Quality Technician - Weekend Operations (3 Days, Paid for 40 Hours!)

Schedule: Weekend Shift Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 3-day work week (36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours minimum) Training Schedule (Required) 1st Shift (Monday - Friday) 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Training schedule may be flexible based on availability, but must be completed as available during the week on 1st Shift. What You’ll Do Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods Collect and prepare samples for third-party laboratory testing Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density tools, etc.) Communicate quality data and provide guidance to production teams Complete all documentation (MMRs, logs, test records) accurately and in real time following Good Documentation Practices Support audits from regulatory and third-party organizations Conduct environmental monitoring and testing programs Assist with calibration programs and customer complaint investigations Cross-train to ensure full quality coverage across operations Follow and enforce all GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards Support operations through flexibility and overtime as needed Perform all other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in a Quality Control role (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar preferred) Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Must be reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office programs Must operate with a high sense of urgency and accuracy. This role requires real-time testing, documentation, and immediate response to quality deviations. Delays, missed details, or incomplete documentation can impact product quality and compliance. Individuals who are not detail-oriented, proactive, and highly accountable will not be successful in this role.
