Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Two Shifts Available:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturday work)

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturday work)

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator for a full-time position. The ideal candidate must have prior forklift operating experience in construction, steel, or other challenging environments.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy forklift to move and transport materials in a construction, industrial, or metal-handling environment.
• Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage areas, or workstations.
• Handle large, heavy, or irregularly shaped loads safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper stacking, securing, and transportation of materials.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent accidents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a heavy forklift in construction, steel, or industrial settings.
• Ability to maneuver large and heavy loads with precision.
• Familiarity with handling metal materials, steel beams, or oversized equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one if required).
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
