Quality Inspector

Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour Summary:
- Location: Camarillo, CA
- Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 6:00AM-2:30PM
- Perform and verify visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical inspections.
- Review and approve inspection/test data.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
- Interface with customer/government source inspection personnel.
- Maintain inspection records in accordance with company procedures.
- Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process.
- Understand and support the Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must communicate (read and write) in English.
- Must use basic measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Basic four-function mathematics and some SPC data collection.
- Must not be color blind or non-correctably vision impaired.
- Familiarity with AS9102 and creating AS9102 FAIRs.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Inspector (CQI).
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3 years of inspector experience.
- Cooper Interconnect Policies and Procedures.
- AS9100B Quality System Standard.
- Measuring tools, blueprints, and G&H Drawings and Specifications.
- Lock-out/Tag-out, general safety, HAZ-MAT, and Foreign Object Awareness.
- Quality System Awareness.
- Routine manual dexterity, walking, sitting, standing, typing, bending at the neck, climbing, and lifting up to twenty pounds when required.
- Extensive sitting, fine hand manipulation, bending at the neck, and frequent traveling through the company.
