About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant specialty License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Craniotomy and burr hole experience are required. Charge experience preferred. Experience with trauma level I or II preferred. Patient ratio experience of 1:1. Description: This position involves working in the operating room. The focus will be on neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics procedures. Prior experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures is essential. Enhanced skills in various surgical techniques are required, including but not limited to: amputation, cervical fusion, appendectomy, and laparoscopic procedures. Staffing will include support from interdisciplinary teams. Clinicians must be prepared for different patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet unit needs. Travel experience is preferred and must comply with all travel regulations. Candidates must be able to complete necessary lab items within a specified timeframe upon acceptance of the offer.
