Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location: Syracuse, NY 
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12 Hours
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $70–$80/hr

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License/Registration

• Minimum 1.5 years recent RN experience within the past 2 years

• Recent Emergency Department experience required

• Adult and pediatric patient experience required

• BLS certification required

• EPIC experience preferred

• Level I/II Trauma experience preferred

• Experience in a similar or higher-level acute-care facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.

• Prioritize patient care based on acuity.

• Provide safe and timely patient-centered care.

• Care for trauma and critically ill patients.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC/EHR.

• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication.

• Follow hospital policies and patient-safety standards.

• Work every other weekend and some holidays as scheduled.
