Location: Southeastern New Jersey - Various Locations

Join us in transforming inpatient urologic care.

Our organization is on the lookout for a Hospitalist Urologist to become part of a dynamic and expanding Urology Division in Southeastern New Jersey. This position is integral to a specialized hospital-based urology service aimed at enhancing inpatient care while also bolstering a growing outpatient surgical urology program.

You will operate within a consultation-only hospitalist urology framework, which has been fully established over the last three years. You will be supported by two skilled Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners, and there will be no on-call duties unless you choose to take them for additional pay. The inpatient service works closely with a six-physician, four-APP outpatient operative urology team, with ongoing recruitment to facilitate further growth.

The Urology Division encompasses two advanced hospitals, several DaVinci XI robotic systems, three ambulatory surgery centers, and a comprehensive network of outpatient facilities along the Southern New Jersey coastline. The hospitalist urologist will provide support to both hospitals, located just 10 minutes apart, and will receive backup and call coverage from the outpatient urologists.

Position Highlights

• Focused role as a Urology Hospitalist with an emphasis on inpatient consultations.

• Currently supported by the same Hospital Urologist for the past three years, who is now retiring.

• No on-call obligations unless the candidate opts for them for extra compensation.

• Assistance from two Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioners (one at each hospital).

• Collaborative relationship with a six-physician operative urology team, with a seventh urologist being recruited.

• Active urology hospitalist program functioning as a consultation-only service for the last three years (Medical Hospitalists handle all admissions).

• Work alongside board-certified colleagues dedicated to patient-centered care.
