HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCEAs an AM Fill Plant Lead, this role will complete the responsibilities of a Fill Plant Technician by focusing on inspecting and sorting gas cylinders returned by customers. They are also responsible for prepping the plant in the morning, boosting team morale, setting and staging 3rd party gas filling, and helping train new hires.CK SUPPLY CORE VALUES: Please read slowly these are non-negotiables and we are going to ask you about them in the interview! Driven - Hardworking, Dedicated, Dependable, Desire to be the BestPassionate - Positive Attitude, Appearance, Pride, Love What We DoPeople-Oriented - Honest, Respectful, Trust-Worthy, Integrity Solutions-Focused - Knowledgeable, Creative, Problem-SolversPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist customers with will-call cylinder ordersInspect gas cylinders for damage, dates, and barcodes prior to refillingSort gas cylinders by size, type, color and testing needs as empty cylinders are returnedMaintain full cylinder inventory on dockUtilizing barcode scanners, ensure all cylinders are scanned in and out of the systemLoad and unload trucks with hard goods and cylindersMaintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area is kept neat and organizedPrepare morning shift by opening up the fill plant and looking ahead at the schedule for the daySet a positive tone for the teamCoordinate truck loading with Assistant Distribution ManagerSuccessfully run the sort island and fill islandSet and stage 3rd party gas fills (acetylene, propane and hydrogen) Coordinate schedules with PM Lead to keep production running Follow all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipmentComplete in-house training programs to ensure understanding of the gases and safety guidelinesUsing a forklift, move pallets of cylinders for sorting or filling purposesComplete training to operate and fill liquid cylinders as neededAssist in the production and fulfillment of dry ice ordersAdhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words Other related duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMust have a strong attention to detailA mindset focused on safety for self and co-workersAbility to operate and use all necessary equipmentAbility to visually distinguish colors of various cylindersMust be able to communicate with all staff and customersAbility to lift, roll and move cylinders up to 75 poundsRead, write, and count to accurately complete paperworkWork in diverse and inclement weather conditionsAbility to reach, stoop, twist, kneel and bend on a consistent basisAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeEQUIPMENT UTILIZEDThe following is a list of some of the types of equipment that an employee in this position may be required to operate.
