Retail Food and Bev Lead Store 140 - Part Time Job Category: Retail Requisition Number: RETAI003431 Location: Cincinnati, OH 45224, USA Part-Time (Monday-Saturday) 4am-9am. Pay: $13.50 - $15.25. Responsibilities – Food Lead Turn on Roller Grill, stock per Production Guide, ensure products correctly dated and food safe. Prepare fresh condiments using proper dating procedures. Turn on HTG Oven & HTG Warmer, prepare sandwiches per Production Guide and SOPs, place on warmer ensuring correct expiration times. Maintain temperature logs for all foodservice areas, including Dipside. Maintain product availability for prepared food areas Monday-Friday, 5AM-12PM (HTG Warmer, Roller Grill, deli case). Prepare Dipside area in the morning to have ice cream stocked and in proper condition. Ensure ordering of Foodservice Supplies to eliminate out of stocks, via orders or informing Management. Complete wash, rinse and sanitizing activities for all foodservice smallwares. Maintain cleanliness of sales area where foodservice products are located: Roller Grill, condiment area, HTG Warmer, Bakery Case, Dipside, Fountain and Hot Beverage areas. Maintain organization & cleanliness of all foodservice areas following cleaning SOPs: HTG oven, cooler/refrigerated foods area, Hardening Room, reach-in coolers and freezers, Dipside counters, equipment & cow, Fountain BIBs, undercounter storage, back room storage. Keep up to date with program changes and SOPs. Work with management to ensure associates are trained and can execute all foodservice programs while on shift. Apply pull & slack procedures for all Ovenside sandwiches to grow sales and reduce waste. Maintain oven cleanliness. Responsibilities – Store Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests, ensure store prepared and ready, anticipate needs, and ensure each guest leaves satisfied. Prepare dipside guest services: shakes/malts, cups/cones of ice cream, sundaes, floats/sodas, hand-packed containers. Efficient operation of POS system: authorizing and controlling gas sales, accurately register all transactions, handle coins/currency/credit card transactions/coupons/EBT, and making change. Stock merchandise: keep shelves, displays, cooler and freezers filled and faceted, ensure dip cabinet filled and presentable, ensure proper rotation and check for out-of-code dates. Security: maintain awareness of guests, minimize shoplifting and gas drive-offs, control cash levels using drop procedures, do vendor log-in, follow Tobacco/Alcohol Management and Robbery/Violence Deterrence programs. Maintenance: keep store and parking lot safe, clean, organized; ensure equipment clean; monitor product and refrigeration temperatures; maintain bean-to-cup coffee machine per standards. Reporting: accurate completion of time records and the Guest Preparedness Document. Other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications & Ability Statement Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers. Food Safety certification subject to UDF and state regulations. Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, POS terminal, gas console, check ID and use price book. Understand operating instructions for store equipment and operate all store equipment. Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies in dip cabinets. Handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons, food stamps; recognize denominations; make accurate change. Count and do arithmetic well enough to complete required records. Move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers/milk boxes and display properly. Clean counters and other surfaces. Expose to temperatures as low as –30°F for at least 2 minutes. Expose to temperatures as high as +33°F for at least 10 minutes. Lift at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet. Place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet the top of which is 3 feet above the floor.
