Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Saint Francis, KS. You will assist patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase independence under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Kansas PTA license or active State license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs, falls prevention protocols, and transfers/ambulation techniques preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow care plans and document patient progress in electronic medical records preferred.
